He said: "Thank you so much for this incredible honour. I'm filled with immense pride and gratitude, but I want to be clear: this award doesn't belong to me alone. I'm accepting it on behalf of every member of staff and every pupil at our school, because this recognition truly belongs to all of them."

Mr Vickers went on to praise his colleagues for the dedication and care they show every day, describing the countless acts of kindness and support that often go unseen. He also thanked the pupils, whose curiosity, kindness and resilience continue to inspire those around them.

Reflecting on life at St William's, he spoke about the many examples of compassion he has witnessed across the school community, from staff supporting children through difficult moments to pupils helping and encouraging one another.
