We are incredibly proud to celebrate the achievements of our amazing St William's Catholic Primary School basketball squad, who enjoyed a fantastic day representing the school at the Go Well Primary School Basketball Shield and Cup.
From the moment they arrived, our pupils showed outstanding sportsmanship, focus and enthusiasm. Throughout the competition, they demonstrated impressive teamwork, strong communication, and real determination on the court. It was wonderful to see them supporting one another, celebrating each basket, and giving their absolute best in every match.
Their hard work truly shone through as the team performed magnificently against tough opposition from other local primary schools. Each player played a vital role—whether defending with confidence, making skilful passes, or scoring with brilliant accuracy.
All their effort and commitment culminated in an incredible second‑place finish—a remarkable achievement and a testament to their dedication, skill, and the hours they’ve put into training. We couldn’t be prouder of how they represented St William’s, both in the way they played and in the positive attitude they showed throughout the day.
A huge well done to every member of the squad. You were fantastic ambassadors for our school, and we hope you feel as proud of yourselves as we do. Keep up the amazing work, Team St William’s!
