Although our dream of reaching the national finals may have come to an end this year, what an incredible journey it has been for our team.
At today’s County Finals, the children faced some extremely tough competition, with every match challenging them to dig deep, show resilience and support one another throughout. From start to finish, their teamwork, determination and sportsmanship were outstanding.
Finishing 7th in County Durham means our team are officially the 7th best team in the county — a fantastic achievement and one they should be incredibly proud of.
While the final result may not have been exactly what we hoped for, it in no way takes away from the effort, heart and spirit shown by the team across the whole day. They represented St William’s brilliantly, both on and off the field.
We are immensely proud of every single one of them.
